DID YOU MISS THE MAGICAL MOMENT BETWEEN CELTIC AND DONS?

Yesterday, Celtic defeated Aberdeen 6-0 at Parkhead with little fanfare or fuss thanks to the ideal goal.

The moment of magic materialised in the second minute of stoppage time, with the champions leading 3-0 thanks to goals from Kyogo Furuhashi, who scored his eighth goal of the season, Yang Hyun-jun, who scored his first for the Hoops, and Luis Palma from the penalty spot.

When goalie Joe Hart flicked the ball to Cameron Carter-Vickers, who then passed it to Tomoki Iwata, who skillfully played a one-two with Alistair Johnston before bringing David Turnbull into play, the magical moment began.

As the move gained speed heading into the Dons half of the pitch, the midfielder knocked the ball onto Matt O’Riley.

Liam Scales, an international defender for the Republic of Ireland, received a clever pass from the adept playmaker and stroked the ball onto Luis Palma on the left.

Just outside the box, the talented touchline ace saw Turnbull unmarked and picked him up with a precise pass.

Before making a fast switch and sliding a shot low to the keeper’s left, the Scotland international shaped to curl an effort high and wide to Kelle Roos’ left. The ball was then heading towards its eventual end, touching the inside of the post.

Absolutely excellent, Celtic!
