Thiago Silva, a defender for Chelsea, has been a blessing to the team as he nears the end of his career, but it was never anticipated that he would stay.

It was always assumed that he intended to finish his career in Brazil, where it all began.

Although Fluminense is still seeking to sign him, a report from The Daily Mirror now indicates that he may be able to extend his Chelsea contract by one more year.

They assert that Silva may decide to stay at Chelsea for at least an additional year for one unexpected reason: his adolescent kid.

At the end of the current campaign, the 39-year-old veteran’s contract expires, and Brazilian team Fluminense is once again attempting to bring their former player back to South America.

However, Isago da Silva and Isago da Silva, his two kids, have expressed a desire to reside in London, showing that they are content and settled there. In addition, they participate in Chelsea’s academy. Isago, 15, has a contract with Cobham that expires in the summer of 2025, so Silva plans to stay as long as he can work out a deal with the Blues.
