Watch: Magnificent Luis Palma Helping Honduras
During the current international break, many Celtic players have represented their nations and still do. Among them is Luis Palma.
Early on Saturday morning, the winger made his Honduran debut. In the end, his country defeated Mexico by a score of two goals to zero in a highly significant triumph.
Although Palma did not score himself, he did assist in setting up Honduras’ first goal. After receiving the ball wide, the 23-year-old produced a brilliant chipped pass that sent Getafe striker Anthony Lozano past the lines to score:
Palma is getting better and better, at least this season. He keeps finding the net and providing assists, which is great news for Celtic. The Honduran international’s success in the Champions League this season is evidence that he enjoys doing well in big games as well.
Jota’s departure was obviously less painful with him on the team, and Palma’s talent and flair are on par with the now-Al-Ittihad player’s.
