Michigan football’s wide receiver Roman Wilson didn’t hold back in expressing his views on the Ohio State Buckeyes after Michigan’s triumph on Saturday against their fierce rivals. Wilson called into question Ohio State’s toughness, emphasizing his perception that they fall short in that department. The game concluded with Michigan securing a 30-24 victory, during which Wilson made a noteworthy 22-yard touchdown catch.

In his post-game remarks, Wilson remarked, “You want to put on the Louie V, the $1,000 outfit, like, you want to act hard, but when they’re out there, they’re not hard. I see the film. You’re not tough. I don’t think I’m the toughest guy in the world, but I’m out there, I’m getting physical. I don’t think they wanted it like how I wanted it.”

Michigan faced numerous challenges during the game, including the loss of offensive lineman Zak Zinter to a leg injury in the third quarter, with Head Coach Jim Harbaugh serving a suspension and the distraction of an ongoing NCAA investigation into sign-stealing allegations within the Michigan program. Despite these obstacles, Michigan displayed resilience, finishing the season with a perfect 12-0 record, securing a spot in the Big Ten Championship.

Wilson played a crucial role in this success, contributing three catches for 36 yards and a touchdown in the Ohio State game. This season marked his best performance as a Wolverine, tallying 40 catches for 648 yards and 11 touchdowns.
