Steph Curry Speechless After Celtic Blow out Warriors in Historic Fashion

Steph Curry has commented on the Golden State Warriors’ humiliating 140-88 defeat against the Boston Celtics on Sunday.

Curry, who finished with a season-low four points and sat out the second half, attributed the Warriors’ 52-point loss to what he described as a “perfect storm,” acknowledging the Celtics’ strong performance and confidence in their identity. He credited Boston for thoroughly outplaying them from the start.

It was a dismal night for Curry individually, shooting 2-13 from the field and missing all nine attempts from beyond the three-point line, including back-to-back airballs in the first quarter.

A notable aspect of the game was the Warriors’ failure to contain Jaylen Brown at the three-point line. Brown led all scorers with 29 points, shooting 11-19 from the field and 5-10 from deep.

After the game, Draymond Green revealed that the team had only formulated their defensive strategy 15 minutes before leaving the locker room, which may have contributed to their struggles. Brown himself expressed surprise at the lack of coverage on him and considered it a bit disrespectful, although he capitalized on the opportunity to score.

With the Celtics and Warriors splitting their season series 1-1, they won’t face each other again this season.
