Former footballer Jermaine Pennant gave Liverpool some recruitment advise, advising them to target two players in the January transfer window.

Former Liverpool player Jermaine Pennant advised his former team to focus on two important areas during the January transfer window.

After arriving at the Merseyside club in 2006 as part of a £6.7 million trade from Birmingham City, the Englishman stayed there for three years. Despite having a lacklustre tenure at the Premier League’s biggest clubs, he only managed three goals in 81 games; yet, he was chosen man of the match during their 2-1 Champions League final loss to AC Milan.

The 40-year-old, who left Liverpool nearly 15 years ago, has been closely monitoring the team and expressed his admiration for the team’s revamped midfield.

He discussed how the recent additions had gotten along so well with one another with King Casino Bonus. “I said it was too early in early October, but we’ve seen how well the players have settled into the side since the season began,” Pennant stated.

Like water on a duck’s back, they have all adapted to life in the Premier League. Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister, and Dominik Szoboszlai have all shown really strong. The emphasis was on how at ease they appear to be. The midfield has clicked, and their front five is capable of greatness, as we all know! Everything appears to be in order presently.

As he waxed poetic about their midfield, the club should aim to add Lloyd Kelly, the captain of Bournemouth, and Andre, the star of Fluminense, to shore up their defensive positions. “Liverpool might get a strong centre-back in January if there are any injuries, as I think that could be their Achilles heel,” the former Arsenal player said.

“As for Liverpool this season, I’d say so far, so good. In January, I would like to see Lloyd Kelly enter the team as a left-back and center-back, and I would also like to see Andre Trindade in as a number six.”
