Eliza West has been called upon by Melbourne to bolster their starting lineup ahead of Sunday’s Semi-Final matchup with Geelong.
West will rejoin the squad as they compete for a berth in a preliminary final after being left out of the final 21 last weekend.
When the Dees last met the Cats in Round 5, the confident midfielder made an impression by recording a game-high 10 tackles.
In the Semi-Final lineup, Rhi Watt, Charlotte Wilson, and Sammie Johnson have been designated as emergencies in place of Georgia Campbell.
Due to the fact that Olivia Purcell (50 games) and Mick Stinear (75 games) are commemorating significant anniversaries together, this match will be very memorable for two Demons.
Purcell began her AFLW career with the Cats in 2018, so it will be a full circle occasion for her.
The game at IKON Park is scheduled to begin at 3:05 p.m., and Dees supporters are welcome to attend and show their support.
