In an exhilarating game at San Francisco, Stephen Curry showcased his scoring prowess by putting up 32 points, including five successful 3-pointers, further solidifying his standing as the NBA’s all-time 3-point shooting record-holder. Adding to the excitement, Klay Thompson bounced back from a shooting slump with an impressive 20 points, contributing significantly to the Golden State Warriors’ much-needed 121-116 victory over the Houston Rockets on Monday night.

Addressing the team’s recent challenges, Warriors coach Steve Kerr emphasized the importance of the win, stating, “We weren’t perfect, but in this case, you just need to win. Hopefully, this is a good sign, and we can get back on track.”

Curry, already renowned as the league’s leading 3-point shooter, achieved another historic feat by becoming the first player in NBA history to make four or more 3-pointers in each of his first 13 games of the season. The nine-time All-Star and two-time MVP displayed his shooting prowess, going 8 of 14 from the field and hitting 5 of 9 beyond the arc.

With this performance, Curry notched his seventh game this season with 30 or more points and his 10th game with at least 25 points. As the final seconds ticked away in the fourth quarter, Curry humorously raised his arms in celebration.

Reflecting on the victory, Curry expressed the team’s need for positive energy, stating, “Haven’t had good energy walking off this floor in a while. We needed this one for sure.” This win marked the Warriors’ second home victory of the season and their first since November 1.
