Nottingham Forest to Accept £4 Million Bid for Joe Worrall

Nottingham Forest will accept a £4 million bid for Joe Worrall this summer to add pure profit to their accounts, sources told Newsmen.

Sheffield United and other Championship clubs are interested in signing the 27-year-old.

Forest are close to their allowable PSR losses for the summer transfer window and need to sell players to balance their books.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s team avoided relegation but need to raise funds to invest in the squad over the summer.

Worrall, who was on loan at Besiktas for the second half of the 2023-24 season, could be one of the players leaving City Ground.

Nottingham Forest to receive PSR profit from Worrall sale

Adding his opinion a senior transfer correspondent, Pete O’Rourke said: “With Joe Worrall now back I think Forest will be open to offers for him – there will be a lot of clubs looking at him as a cheap option.

Clubs will be able to sign him for around £4million but Worrall has two years remaining on his deal so it will have to be on his terms too.

It might not be a huge transfer fee, but a sale will be pure profit on the books because he’s a homegrown player.

There is a bit of interest from Sheffield United and other Championship clubs in him.

Forest will be looking to sell players who do give them that potential of bringing profit in, which would help towards them making signings of their own.
