Fabio Wardley Reveals Toughest Sparring Partner – It’s Not Joshua, Fury, or Usyk!

Fabio Wardley, the reigning British heavyweight champion, has sparred with some of the most formidable heavyweights in the world, but who does he believe packs the hardest punch?

Having shared the ring with the likes of Tyson Fury, Oleksandr Usyk, and Anthony Joshua, Wardley asserts that Dillian Whyte stands out as the fighter with the most devastating power he has experienced.

Wardley is gearing up to defend his Lonsdale belt later this month against Frazer Clarke, ensuring he enters the bout fully prepared for the challenge ahead.

Known for seeking valuable experience against top contenders in his weight class, Wardley provides insights into his sparring sessions with the elite fighters of the division.

“I’ve sparred with Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury, Dillian Whyte, Oleksandr Usyk, Filip Hrgovic, Derek Chisora,” Wardley revealed during a conversation with Talksport. “While my time with Joshua amounted to only about ten rounds in total, I spent approximately a month training alongside Hrgovic in Miami. Spending more time with a sparring partner increases the likelihood of encountering powerful shots.”

“However,” Wardley adds, “the instance where I felt the hardest punch was from Dillian Whyte. His lightning-quick check left hook caught me off guard on a few occasions.”
