Tiger Woods’ son, Charlie Woods, appears to be on a trajectory mirroring that of his iconic father, inching closer to emulating his golfing prowess.

The 15-time major champion, now 48 years old, has a doppelganger in his 15-year-old son, not just in their striking resemblance, but also in their shared passion for golf.

Fans of the Woods family are accustomed to witnessing the teenager accompany his father to tournaments over the years.

Now, Charlie is eyeing a transition from being his dad’s caddie to stepping onto the professional golf scene himself, setting his sights on qualifying for his inaugural PGA tour event.

During his recent endeavor, Charlie was joined by his mother, Elin Nordegren.

The top five finishers and ties from the Lost Lake event will advance to the qualifiers on Monday, with the top four thereafter officially earning a spot in the Cognizant Classic scheduled from February 29 to March 3.

Notably, Tiger himself was 16 when he made his debut on the Tour.

The father-son duo has previously participated in four PNC Championships, formerly known as The Father/Son Challenge, where PGA Tour and Champions Tour players team up with their sons.

Although they have yet to clinch victory, they secured a runner-up finish in 2021.

Charlie is the youngest son of Tiger and his ex-wife Elin, with whom he shares another child, daughter Sam Alexis, aged 16.

Their marriage, which began in 2004, ended in a highly-publicized divorce in 2010 following Tiger’s involvement in multiple extramarital affairs.

Since 2019, the Swedish model Elin has been romantically involved with former NFL tight end Jordan Cameron, with whom she shares two children, including son Arthur.
