The Cavaliers overcame a 22-point deficit to end the Celtics’ 11-game winning streak on Tuesday night.

During the third quarter of the game against the Boston Celtics, Evan Mobley, a third-year center, exited the court due to an injury. Despite Mobley’s absence, Cleveland managed to rally and secure a narrow 105-104 victory, with the winning point coming after a foul call against Jayson Tatum was overturned in the final second.

Mobley sustained his injury while landing awkwardly after a dunk, immediately clutching his lower leg upon collapsing. He attempted to continue playing but ultimately headed to the bench after a Cavaliers foul stopped the play. Subsequently, he limped to the locker room accompanied by a trainer.

The team later confirmed that Mobley suffered a left ankle sprain and would not be able to return to the game. Additionally, Max Strus had been sidelined before the game due to a right knee strain.

In the 22 minutes he played, the 22-year-old Mobley contributed four points, six rebounds, and four assists.
