“It’s Chaos,” Liam Scales Says About Celtic Park
Liam Scales, a defender for Celtic, has made a significant comeback this year. Since Brendan Rodgers joined the team again, the Irish international’s career has taken a turn for the better.
His ascent to prominence has been remarkable. Scales, who represented Ireland in the Champions League and Celtic in the league, has achieved things this season that he never would have imagined.
The 25-year-old, who has started every group game the Hoops have played in this season, acknowledged that the Parkhead European environment has impressed him.
Off-the-ball, he remarked, “It’s surreal.” When the music stops, the roar of the fans really drowns it out; nothing can be heard—it’s absolute chaos.
“I just try to soak it all in because you never know how many Champions League games you’ll play, and it’s extra special here at Celtic Park.”
Scales has excelled in the top club tournaments in Europe. The defender has, in fact, shown some excellent play thus far this season in all competitions, and as long as he continues to do so, his place in the Celtic team will remain.
