Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey encountered each other at Nobu in Malibu, just two weeks after Kansas City secured a repeat championship with a 25-22 overtime win against San Francisco in Super Bowl 2024. The NFL stars, accompanied by McCaffrey’s fiancée, model Olivia Culpo, were photographed leaving separately. Kelce, 34, arrived around 8 p.m., coinciding with McCaffrey, 27, and Culpo, 31. TMZ reported that Kelce was with the crew but was alone in photos, as his girlfriend, pop superstar Taylor Swift, is on tour in Singapore. Culpo and her sisters attended an event at Nobu for the launch of Dolce Glow self-tanner. It remains unclear if Kelce and McCaffrey share a close friendship, as McCaffrey mentioned meeting Kelce for the first time in November 2023. McCaffrey and Culpo are planning to marry in Rhode Island this summer, raising the question of whether Kelce and Swift will be on the guest list. Kelce and Swift publicly confirmed their relationship last October, having started dating the previous summer. Defensive backs coach Dave Merritt revealed that Swift attended Kelce’s games, making her first appearance on Sept. 24, 2023, during the Chiefs’ victory over the Bears.
