Arkansas Wide Receiver Isaiah Sategna Enters Transfer Portal

The Arkansas Razorbacks will face a significant loss heading into the 2025 season as starting wide receiver Isaiah Sategna has announced his decision to enter the transfer portal. Sategna, a key offensive contributor, informed the program of his intentions earlier this week.

Sategna capped off the 2024 season as one of the Razorbacks’ most productive offensive players, ranking second on the team with 37 receptions for 491 yards and a touchdown. Additionally, he recorded 88 return yards, further showcasing his versatility.

The Fayetteville native originally joined Arkansas as a consensus 4-star recruit in the 2022 class. A standout at Fayetteville High School, Sategna made headlines by flipping his commitment from Oregon to Arkansas during the recruiting process. In his senior high school season, he delivered a historic performance, leading the nation with 1,908 receiving yards on 100 receptions, accompanied by 17 touchdowns.

During his collegiate career, Sategna earned recognition for his dynamic play. As a redshirt freshman in 2023, he was named to the All-SEC Freshman Team and earned a spot on Phil Steele’s All-SEC third team. His 680 total return yards that season rank as the sixth-highest single-season total in Razorbacks history.

Sategna’s departure creates a notable gap in Arkansas’ receiving corps, a unit already identified as a priority for the upcoming transfer portal period, which opens on December 9. Offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino and receivers coach Ronnie Fouch will likely focus on adding experienced talent to bolster the team’s offense.
