4-Star OL Michael Carroll Commits to Alabama Right After Visit!

Another significant win for Kalen DeBoer and his Alabama staff.

Four-star offensive lineman Michael Carroll has committed to Alabama, Bama247 confirms. Standing at 6-foot-6 and weighing 315 pounds, Carroll decided to commit after his official visit to Tuscaloosa over the weekend. He had previously visited Georgia and was scheduled to visit Michigan and Penn State later this month.

This recent trip marked Carroll’s third visit to Alabama since the coaching change, and his first since the A-Day visit when Alabama emerged as the frontrunner.

Carroll is the first offensive line commitment for the 2025 cycle under Chris Kapilovic, who spearheaded his recruitment.

With Carroll’s commitment, Alabama now has 13 commitments and holds the No. 3 recruiting class according to the 247Sports Team Recruiting Rankings. The Crimson Tide is also gaining momentum with several other top prospects, including in-state legacy recruit and fellow offensive line prospect Mal Waldrep, who was also on campus for an official visit over the weekend.
