🚨 BREAKING: Vikings on the Verge of Sensational Blockbuster Deal for Promising Young Quarterback! The NFL World Can’t Handle the Anticipation!

Following recent revelations about the Minnesota Vikings’ strong interest in trading up for Anthony Richardson last April, it appears that they are considering a similar strategy for LSU quarterback and Heisman winner Jayden Daniels this upcoming spring.

NFL film analyst Brett Kollman shared insights on ESPN reporter Mina Kimes’s podcast, disclosing the Vikings’ significant efforts to acquire Anthony Richardson last year. Kollman noted that the Vikings were willing to make a substantial trade, offering a considerable haul, but the deal did not materialize as their trade partner had different expectations.

Given the uncertain situation with Kirk Cousins, who is approaching free agency, Kollman anticipates that the Vikings will make a comparable effort to secure Jayden Daniels. Kollman sees Daniels as a quarterback in the mold of Kevin O’Connell, the added mobility in the run game being a notable factor. Considering the Vikings’ unsuccessful attempt to acquire Richardson for similar reasons, Kollman believes Daniels is likely on their radar.

Despite not being considered a first-round prospect entering the 2023 season, Daniels, a slender 6-foot-4, 210-pound quarterback, showcased significant improvement after transferring to LSU in 2022. In his fifth year, Daniels led the nation with 4,946 total yards and 50 touchdowns, demonstrating prowess as a deep threat. He earned impressive grades from Pro Football Focus, leading in various categories such as overall grade, rushing grade, passing touchdowns, and yards per attempt.

Kollman also discussed the possibility of the Los Angeles Chargers being an ideal trade partner for the Vikings to move up and select Daniels, considering the Chargers’ No. 5 pick in the draft and their need for a roster reconstruction. The suggested trade scenario involves the Vikings offering their No. 11 pick, a future first- or second-rounder, and additional later-round picks to secure the opportunity to draft Daniels as a top-tier quarterback prospect.
