Arkansas Razorbacks Miss Out as Bryce James Commits to Arizona Wildcats for College Basketball

Bryce James, the youngest son of NBA superstar LeBron James, has officially announced his commitment to play college basketball for the Arizona Wildcats. James, a three-star shooting guard in the class of 2025, currently attends Sierra Canyon High School in California.

The announcement was made on Wednesday through James’ Instagram account, marking another significant milestone for the James family in Division I basketball. Bryce’s older brother, Bronny James, previously played one season at USC.

During his recruitment process, Bryce received offers from several prominent programs, including Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Duquesne. He also visited USC and Notre Dame earlier in the fall before deciding on Arizona. At 6-foot-4 and 165 pounds, Bryce brings athleticism and a strong shooting game to the Wildcats’ roster. He is represented by Klutch Sports, the same agency that has managed his father’s career.

LeBron James celebrated his son’s commitment with an enthusiastic Instagram post, writing, “🐻 DOWN⬇️!!!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS MAXIMUS!! SO PROUD OF YOU!!! 🙌🏾🙏🏾🤎🥺 #JamesGang👑.”

Bryce’s high school career has been marked by transitions. He began at Sierra Canyon, moved to Campbell Hall in May 2023, then to Notre Dame High School three months later, before returning to Sierra Canyon in November 2023. Despite these moves, his potential and talent have drawn widespread attention in the basketball community.

The Arizona Wildcats, a powerhouse in college basketball, now add Bryce James to their roster, further solidifying their future prospects as they look to compete at the highest level in the NCAA.
